Three separate timeframe stochastic indicators are plotted in a binary fashion – oversold (green) – overbought (red). When convergence across all three occurs, the top line will indicate the master signal. There’s a sneak peak of my Auto-Fibonacci retracement script hiding in the picture as well ;)

    1st one to comment!
nice work.. if I tweak any of these indicators and find better results, I will let you know…
    very good job..

Just found your site. Thanks for your effort. I like the idea of auto fibs. let me know when you release. Thanks

On another note when I cut and pasted the code instead of a green dot I got a blue dot. Did I do something wrong?

  5. thinkscripter says:

    Brian,
If you cut and paste, there should be no blue dots…Try removing the study from the “Added Studies” pane and re-adding it.

I am attempting to incorporate your chart into my ’studies” in TOS…could you please give me instructions.
    thanks

    John,
If you are just unsure of how to get a study into ToS here’s the quick and dirty:
    1) Go to “Studies” -> “Edit Studies”
    2) Click “New study”
    3) Give it a unique name
    4) Delete the generic “plot Data = close;” line of code
    5) Paste the code into the window
    6) Press save – Should be there on your plot and in your library now.

I’m curious to know if there’s a way to set up an alert to be notified when the top decision line generates long and short signals. It would be more convenient than to constantly scan charts visually to see when either of those signals appear.

    • Daniel,
Currently you cannot fire alerts from user defined studies…..we’ve all been waiting for that addition to thinkScript. Also be advised that overbought/oversold on all timeframes is not a signal in and of itself. You must use this in conjunction with other indicators/methods.

I’m new but I like what I see. How do I get thinkscript? I assuming this is a language that I need to learn. Where do I start?

    Thanks,

I specifically went PRO just for this indicator, and as I look at it I can tell everyone here it is quite impressive. Noticed major turns in the market when this indicator all of a sudden starts flashing red or green. Anyway… I’m playing with the code and just wondering if anyone has scripted it to actually run on different 3 different time frames instead of just using a different K factor for the same time frame (example, stock is oversold according to a 14 period %K on a 15 minute, hour, and daily chart for swing trades). I’m not sure if it would give even better results, but it would be a few days before I could get it to work on mine.

I have not released it yet. I’m still testing it and have yet to decide if I will release it to the public.

Cool! I mean, give me a few days and I could probably hammer out a decent one, but I’d like to see your version. Also, I think your timestamp is a little messed up on your reply, I spent some time wondering if you were replying to me or if the page was playing tricks on me
