I’m finally coming up for air after being buried deep within the bowels of the ThinkScripter evil laboratory this weekend. I spent no less than thirty hours coding in an INTP binge of absolute divine inspiration punctuated by brief but annoying periods of “scripter’s block.”
As I peruse the net looking for ideas and code snippets, I am taken aback by the obscene prices experts generally charge for indicators. Costs range from several hundred dollars for a single indicator to thousands for a suite or, worse yet, a perpetual monthly fee.
Folks, there is no Holy Grail. There is no indicator that will suddenly bring the market’s gyrations into crystal clarity. The best indicator is between your ears and the route to successful trading lies with effective money management and discipline.
As such, nearly all of my indicators are free. The rest cost $75 for everything now and into the future. Use them, abuse them, toss them out, but above all, learn something in the process.
